Today I had some friends come over for International day preparation for children school. (It's not syarah school but we help each other as this is gathering time to some laugh). And this is the time too for me to make them as my guinea pig for baking test.:P
But after a long thinking ,Choux pastry came in my mind( well they were safe). Instead of create new recipe I decide to make choux again to impress them( well the work well done :P) We also had a delivery pizza and a plate of kimchi pancake.
The process of making the pastry is easy. I started to make it half hour before they arrive and add with the time we chatted its almost 1 hour my cream in the fridge( For any butter cream I will put in the fridge for at least 1 hour). The cream i added some whipping cream as I ran out of more milk so the taste is so creamy but its yummy. I love it and my friends too..
Choux Pastry
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 large eggs
1.In saucepan heat water butter and salt to boiling over medium heat until butter has melted.
2. Remove from heat once it already boiled.
3. With wooden spoon, stir in flour and heat while vigoriously stir the dough.Reove from heat after 2 mins.
4. Add eggs, 1 at time beating well after each addition, until batter is smooth and shiny.
5. Bakes in 175c in 20mins.
